Had a blast! Moab is a beautiful place. I got to do some awesome trails, meet cool people, drink around the campfire, see some truly amazing Jeeps and I even met David Tracy!
Just kidding! I have a demanding full-time job, I go to college full time and I have a 5-month old. I’ve put maybe 12 miles on my Jeep since my daughter was born and rarely interact with other humans outside of my wife, daughter and co-workers.
Maybe next year... Just like I’ve been saying for, like, 12 years now... At least I got to drive through Moab when I moved from Florida to Oregon.

Went in 04 & 05. EJS in 05 04 was a week before. Super fun. Now my kids are about old enough to handle it. Now I host easter at my place for the inlaws. So maybe next year. My Jeep hasn’t run in quite some time either.

My Jeep runs... it just doesn’t go anywhere. The car seat doesn’t fit particularly well, and a lifted, swaybar-less XJ isn’t the most responsible kid-hauler. Besides, my Suburban is more comfortable and gets better gas mileage... Seriously.

Yeah baby seats with bases are a bitch. Once they get into 5 points & boosters it’ll be easier.

Indeed. It’ll be nice when she’s in a front-facing seat. In a couple of years I’ll be able to use the Jeep as an excuse to get her and I both out of mom’s hair on a nice Saturday and to get to spend some time out in the woods together.
